About two months ago I created a Facebook Page to compliment this website and to have a presence on one of the largest social sites on the web. Within a month I was closing in on 500 'Fans' and had booked a number of weddings and family portraits though it so I decided to show my appreciation by offering a free shot to one of those fans. As many of you know (especially if you read my bio), I worked for years at Inn on the Lake, a beautiful hotel just outside Halifax, NS.  I coordinated all the weddings during most of my stay there but once I left, it was a thrill to photograph weddings there as I was so familiar with the property and it's really a beautiful spot.  I'm currently gathering a bunch of my Inn on the Lake wedding photos for their booth for the two Wedding Shows in Halifax - and I figured I would post a few here.

Andre and I go back a long way.  In fact, I've known him since I was 5 and I was thrilled when he asked me to be his wedding photographer.  He married the love of his life, Christine, and it was a perfect day for a wedding.

Tracy & Jason got married in Vegas, baby.  When they got home they threw a great reception at the Banook Canoe Club in Dartmouth.  But before we went to the reception, we spent a few hours together at the Dartmouth Ferry Terminal and Downtown Dartmouth.  Who would have thought that most of these images are from the ferry terminal??

I used to watch Andrew play with the Halifax Mooseheads so it was a thrill when I was asked to shoot their wedding.  We had great weather, a great dinner and a great party at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.  It was a lot of fun and the speeches were 'over the top' funny.

Andrea & Ashlea and I had a blast at their engagement shoot and I was very excited to shoot their wedding.  They were just fun, you know.  Well, their wedding didn't disappoint.  We all had fun.  The speeches were funny, the boys caught fish and it got a little out of hand later in the dance (don't expect to see those photos here!).

Ashley & Thomas we getting married in Guysborough, Nova Scotia and were looking for a wedding photographer who would travel for their wedding.  They saw me at a cousin's wedding up in Mabou and asked me to shoot their wedding.  I had a wonderful time surrounded by fun and caring people and it was great getting to know their families (I stayed at Ashley's parent's home).

I absolutely loved Josh & Deanna's wedding last Saturday.  It was just the two of them and 10 other family members who gathered on a beach for an early morning wedding.  It was beautiful and I loved being a part of it.  Those two love each other very much and I think it clearly shows in their photos.
