The Photography of Trevor Allen

Well, my sister finally got married.  She and Matt had a very hot day but for the most part, Friday the 13th went off without a hitch.  People frequently asked me what it was like to shoot my own sisters wedding.  Was I emotional?  Nervous?  Too busy to enjoy myself?  Well, I'll tell you this;  I am so glad it was me shooting my little sister on her biggest day.  I was very nervous but only 2 minutes before she came down the isle.  My stomach was in knots.  To date, this was the most important wedding I'd shot and I knew I'd have difficult conditions (during that 31 degree heat wave with the wedding under the sun) and had to turn out gold. 

I haven't yet gone though all of Nat's pics but here was a few that I grabbed from the bunch.  It was a wonderful ceremony by the garden at my parents' property and then off to Hatfield Farm for the reception.

Next wedding for me will actually be my brothers wedding this Friday.  John and Aimee get married.  Holy frig.
